Aquarion Salvage Service

Dalten

We are contractors for the Department of Salvage & Reclamation of the LYNX Corporation. We provide salvage services throughout the Tellaria system through a network of supply stations.

CORP

The CEO (YoshiWoof22)

A once-prosperous Megacorporation that was taken over by a prototype AI network after an unknown incident. Now, the AI will pursue and hunt down anyone or anything that might pose a threat to their operations.

Imperial Tarellian Pioneer Corps

Mage from Disgaea

The Imperial Pioneer Corps functions as the military exploration, engineering, and grey-ops division of the Tarellian military-industrial complex. When the Empire desires to expand to a new system, or needs to conduct expeditionary operations short of a full fleet/army deployment, the Pioneer corps is sent in to build infrastructure, search and destoy the Empire's foes, and if nescessary, destabilize the local government in anticipation for annexation.

IMBER Corporation

Dalten & Meridius IX/Lucas

The Imber Corporation is a large and well established organization, having a presence on many planets and in outer space. Imber has been criticized for its many territory expansion initiatives, which have forced other smaller colonies from areas they once resided within. This corp considers all other factions as a potential threat, and aggressively defends its property if provoked.

Independent Contractors

Dalten & Meridius IX/Lucas

Ships belonging to Independent Contractors follow no particular style or theme, since the pilots often own and operate these vessels. Contractors can be found on many planets and in outer space. Many of these contractors do not trust other factions and will become defensive if approached.

Parallax Concepts

Dalten, Meridius IX/Lucas, Wisdomtooth88

Parallax Concepts is a mid-sized organization that is established on several planets and in outer space. While they do not have large ambitions to conquer and expand, they don't respond kindly to those that are not affiliated with their faction and will attack if provoked.

Weyland-Yutani Corporation

TheFinalevent97

Weyland-Yutani, often referred to as "The Company" or "Wey-Yu", is a powerful, and ruthless mega-corporation featured in the Alien film franchise. It is known for its unethical pursuit of profits, even at the expense of human lives. The corporation is deeply involved in space colonization, terraforming, and weapons manufacturing, with a particular obsession for acquiring and weaponizing the deadly Xenomorph species.

CULT of Light

Solnakar

Worshippers of the Light.

Pravda Heavy Industries

Crescent & Meridius IX/Lucas

Pravda Heavy Industries is a warship manufacturer known for their unique and unconventional designs. Publicly, they try to maintain a neutral appearance - however that facade quickly dissolves when anyone tries to look closely at what they're really doing with their ships, with any attempt to do so being aggressively repelled. While there is no concrete evidence to prove the following, it's said that the entire corporation is a front for another more secretive organization that harbors a malevolent agenda.

Server Policies

Last Updated by Dalten 6/27/2025

These are the rules in their most basic form. By joining and playing on this Space Engineers server, you agree to comply with these policies.

No Cheating

Non-compliance with these policies will result in an immediate and permanent ban from our Discord and game servers.

No third-party tools (including any client-side plugins such as Plugin Loader) are permitted.

No in-game builds (such as clang drives), scripts or modifications are allowed that alter game physics, access permissions or visuals to provide an unfair gameplay advantage or intentionally cause performance issues with the server or other players. If you have any questions or concerns about an in-game script, check with the staff on our Discord server.

If a bug or gameplay exploit is discovered in-game, report it to staff on our Discord server.

Denial-of-Service and other Internet and network attacks WILL be resisted and reported to your ISPs and law enforcement.

Respect Other Players

Account Sharing

Do not share your Steam or Discord account with anyone else. YOU will be held responsible for any rule breaking done on your account.

Spamming

We define chat spam as various actions in ANY in-game or Discord channel or Private Message on the server, including but not limited to:

  • Pasting links or text repeatedly.
  • Any actions that result in messages being repeatedly posted to chat, such as Death message spamming or repeated login/logouts.
  • Keyboard mashing.
  • Advertising any other game or Discord server without checking first with a staff member.

Chat spamming will result in mute, kick, or ban where appropriate depending on the severity.

Harassing

Abusive language directed at the server, its staff, or its players will get you banned and reported to the Discord Safety team. You can swear but do it in moderation.

If another player tells you to stop, use your best judgement and respect their wishes. Comply if a staff member tells you to stop doing something.

No Griefing or Stealing

Since PvP is part of normal Space Engineers gameplay, griefing and stealing have specific definitions on our Space Engineers game server. PvP is still allowed here, but that's not what this community is interested in.

  • Stealing: Do not take any grids or items from faction or allied-faction players without the owner’s permission, EVEN if containers are set to “Share with All”.
  • Griefing:
    • Block or entity placement/breaking on faction or allied-faction players’ grids without the owner’s permission.
    • Proposing faction peace relationships with the intent to cause theft or damage to the target faction is not acceptable behavior. If you intend to engage in PvP, do not establish a peace relationship with the target faction. Declare War first if you are already in a peace relationship.
    • If you accidentally damage something belonging to another player or faction, it is recommended to let the owner or faction know as soon as possible to prevent a misunderstanding.

Faction Best Practices

This section provides more general guidelines and recommendations than rules. These are designed to help prevent unintentional conflict between players. Faction leaders are ultimately responsible for the behavior of their members, and their relationships to other factions.

  • Please pay attention to who you accept into your faction. Your “Accept Everyone” checkbox should be turned off.
  • Note which factions you extend peace agreements to. Your “Accept Peace” checkbox should also be turned off.
  • If you are leaving or changing factions, make sure you know where all your grids are located, just in case nearby neutral guns become hostile and your grids are damaged.
  • If you establish a peace relationship with another faction, it is recommended that you have a conversation with the other faction leader and have an understanding between your factions on acceptable behavior.

Performance Requirements

You must turn off all your projector blocks when you are not actively using them to build, are logged off, or away from the area. After initially lining up projections, you must set them to "Show Buildable Only". No projections may ever be loaded over the PCU limit below.

The Space Engineers Dedicated Server software considers grids linked by connectors, landing gear or magnetic pads to be ONE entity, which we call Grid Clusters>. We have established limitations on a per-grid basis to ensure continued smooth server performance for all players. Each grid or gird cluster may have:

  • Up to 50,000 PCU. However, there is no limit on the number of individual grids a player may own.
  • Up to Four jump Drives.
  • A maximum total of 30 tool blocks (welders, grinders, and/or drills).
  • Up to Six Production Blocks, which include all basic/normal Assemblers and Refineries, Gravel Sifters.

For long-term parking, don't leave grids connected to one another by magnetic pad, landing gear or connectors. If your ships are in space, you can park them in place with: inertial dampeners, unlocked connector magnetic pull (yellow mode), or land them on asteroids instead with magnetic pad, landing gear. No grid cluster should exceed 5 connected grids at any time.

If a staff member asks you to break up ANY grid clusters or grids, you must do so, otherwise grids may be deleted without notice. A staff member will issue one warning before deletion. Repeated offences may result in other grid deletions and/or ban.

Server Cleanup Information

Server grid and floating object removal is performed on a regular interval without warning, affecting the following:

  • Floating objects.
  • Grids owned by Nobody, NPC factions, banned players, or any player inactive for 60 days.
  • Unpowered grids under 25 blocks.
  • Any grids with default naming (i.e., Small Grid 1234, (NPC-PLX) Shadow, Encounter Shuttle, etc.).
    • The best way to avoid being affected by Trash Cleanup is to name all your grids with some convention (something other than Small Grid 1234).
    • The convention you choose is up to you. Having a consistent naming scheme can allow staff to help find and troubleshoot lost grids for you.
    • You can review your owned grids in your player Info tab.

Access to Scripting

Access to Scripting on this server requires the Scripter role, which may only be granted by a staff member at their discretion. Scripter role may be revoked at any time without warning if rules are violated or for any other reason. Intentional usage of scripts to harm server performance will result in an immediate ban.

Players will undergo a probationary period of indeterminate length before scripter role requests are considered.

  • Active Discord participation is required.
  • Players must be on the server for a minimum of two weeks.

Known Good Scripts

The following scripts have been tested successfully on this server, and we recommend their use:

  • Autolevel
  • Automatic LCDs 2
  • Blarg's Ascent Cruise Control
  • Block Naming Made Easy
  • Isy’s Docked Ships Info
  • Isy’s Inventory Manager (with default or lower scan settings only)
  • Isy’s Simple Doors
  • Isy’s Solar Alignment
  • Whip's Artificial Horizon Redux

Examples of Scripts to Avoid

This list is not exhaustive, but examples of performance-intensive scripts to avoid include some of the following. Avoid any script that makes frequent server calls, or has known performance impacts on dedicated server, particularly anything having to do with radar/lidar/raycasting/clang drives. Contact an admin on Discord if you have any questions or doubts about a script you would like to use.

  • Lidar Mapping Script
  • Raycast Lidar
  • Ship Layout
  • SIMPL | Ship Integrity Monitoring Program Lite
  • Whip's Turret Based Radar

Usage Best Practices

You must turn off your programmable blocks when you are logged off or away from the area, particularly performance-intensive scripts like Isy’s Inventory Manager, PAM, etc.

Only scripts published on the Steam workshop may be used.

If the PAM (Path Auto Miner) script is used, it can only be on up to two 2 ships at a time per faction, in the area where faction members are active.

If the server sim speed drops when your script is active, you must stop and unload that script. Please notify an admin which script caused a problem so the list can be updated.
